Beautiful park with an awesome lake and tall majestic pines. The shower house in our campground (#1) had laundry facilities and a sweet screened in porch. The only downside was that the picnic table and fire rings for our spot were on the opposite end of the trailer from the door and awning.
Great place to visit if you are in the area. Well worth the price of admission for the day or weekend. Wildlife was abundant yet I was surprised by the lack of mosquitoes. Not sure if that is normal or I came at the right time of year. Early August. I will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. Bringing a fishing pole and my mountain bike next time.
My first impression...was wooow! Benches, Ramp for canoes or fishing, private spots on beach, trails--even one for kids, very spacious, very peaceful. Was clean, and where to play by the water
was never-ending! Will definitely be back, even with the hour plus drive!
Large, nice campgrounds. Almost all sites had plenty of shade.
Would have given Five stars had someone responded to my email asking about dog policy, FYI $40 deposit, and the person upon checking in had a very ugly attitude. Call the office, no one answers, if you need something you need to go to the office.
Cabin was clean and provided almost everything needed except no paper towel and only two kitchen towels. They do not check on your during your stay, need more towels, guess you have to go to the office. Had sheets and blanket but no pillow cases???? Grounds were clean and well maintained. I stayed in Cabin 10.
Had a great time the park was very quiet and clean!!! Wish they sold fire wood and ice at the park but.... we were there 3-23-23
Beautiful state park. There are trails, a playground and a swimming area. Plenty of picnic tables here. The restrooms are very clean. The park as a whole is spotless. It's $3 per person to enter but definitely worth it.
Always amazing. We bring our camper here almost every other weekend. The whole family has fun
